We got messages today - it was funny actually coz I was at work and I read my phone and said -- did anyone get this message?

Everyone laughed saying it was a prank - I didnt even think of a warning from the police -- about 20 minutes later some others peoples phones went off and they said -- oh I got it too -- with a serious look..

Ohhhhhhhhhhh now you believe it huh? I said
They told me first.. dont worry bout you........ I said laughing....

On a serious note tho........

Yes lets hope it doesnt turn out a bad one : (

They were telling me today that those firefighters have been working endlessly all night backburning -- the north out Hurstbridge way is lit up -- fire trucks everywhere - helicopters every minute -- has been full on the last couple of days..

As I have said before -- an amazing job they all do..

POLICE believe a grass fire at a popular beach in Melbourne's south was deliberately lit.

Fire crews were called to the fire near The Avenue at Chelsea beach about 12.30am.

What is wrong with these people?
How can you not wanna throw the book at these people after all that has happened the last couple of weeks?
What excuse are they gonna give?

Nup I am outta tolerance

Rain Baby Rain : )

Its been like winter today -- they said we needed 50 mm rain to help those fires, we had 20 last night plus rain today -- which should make 50 so : )

Residents return as bushfire threat diminishes
