Forum rank names

One of the subjects that usually surfaces, sometime or other, is the one about "how should we rank our members' based on the number of posts they contribute?" Many forums don't do this, others use a classification method based on the site's theme.

For example, if the site had a pirate them, the names could go like this:

Swab -> Apprentice gunner -> Gunner -> Old sea-dog -> Bo'sun -> Cap'n Jabber Jaws -> Ancient Mariner -> Scourge o' the Seven Seas

Here's another example based on a feudal class system:

Serf -> Commoner -> Gentry -> Aristocracy -> Nobility -> Courtier -> Serene Highness -> Royal Highness -> Heir Presumptive -> Heir Apparent -> Majesty -> Imperial Majesty

The current system at The Quoroom is adequate, but I think that it's a bit dull:

Fresh Boarder -> Junior Boarder -> Senior Boarder -> Expert Boarder -> Gold Boarder -> Platinum Boarder

Perhaps we could have a system that goes like this:

Lurker -> New 'roomie -> 'Roomie -> Social butterfly -> Party Animal -> Looney 'roomie -> Certifiable room freak -> Life Member

I'm not seriously suggesting these rankings; they're just to give you an idea of what's possible. I just thought we should have some fun with it.

I like the last option Sozz. I particularly associate with the term "social butterfly".

I also had a chuckle at the title of this subject. Are the names so smelly that they are rank?

OK ... how about the following "theme":

cheap wino -> advanced wino -> gut-rot wino -> gorgonzola eater -> effluent breath -> skunk -> sun-baked seaweed -> gym socks -> mouldy yoghurt eater -> zombie
